PURPOSE OF OUR ACTIVITIES

  The corporate members of Japan Hygiene Products Industry Association strive to improve the quality of the hygiene products in cooperation and to contribute to improvement of the quality of people's health, hygiene, child care and nursing.  

 
Product Safety
 

  The corporate members of Japan Hygiene Products Industry Association manufacture and distribute hygiene products, medical supplies and nursing /child care goods to contribute to people's quality of life.
Since Product Liability Laws were enforced in July 1995, we work harder to solve our common problems for making better products.		  

 
Preservation of the Earth
 

  In June 1993, Japan Hygiene Products Industry Association announced "Environmental Cooperation Statement " prior to the other industries. Our corporate members and the Association aim at harmonizing the preservation of the Earth with the corporate activities. For the enforcement of The Package Recycle Laws from April 2000, we will keep to the regulations for the preservation of the Earth.  

 
The Promotion of International Communication
 

  The globalization of people, information and products is rapidly progressing through the internationalizaton of our society and economy. Japan Hygiene Products Industry Association sends our members as a mission every year to the organizations such as EDANA in Europe, IPA in the U.S. ,China National Household Paper Industry Association and China Hygiene Materials & Technology Association in China with leading products for people's various needs, improvement of a product quality, care of aged people, environment and so on. We do have positive communication and information exchange with these organizations for the industry.
