Corporate history, activities, and organization of the JHPIA
The original Japan Hygiene Industry
Association was established on December 28, 1950 as a corporation
within the jurisdiction of MHW. Hygiene Materials Industry Association
and Japan Hygiene Paper Industry Association merged in 1973, and
also they started in the name of Japan Hygiene Product Industry
Association. Japanese First-Aid Bandage Industry Association and
Japan Cleansing Wipes Industry Association have joined in Japan
Hygiene Products Industry Association in 1992 and in 2001 respectively.
Now, besides, Japan Facial Mask Industry Association have joined
in them in 2005. JHPIA is consisted of by above 5-industry associations.
